A native of New Orleans and graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Eric Groh, a Mechanical Engineer, is the CEO and owner of R.J. Tricon Co., LLC. His father, George “Jack” Groh, was a 57 year employee and the President of the company for 30 years, allowing Eric to start working at Tricon during summers in high school and throughout his college years.
Since his graduation in 1985, Eric has enjoyed extensive, professional experience in industrial conveying, specializing in materials handling and power transmission equipment applications. His customer base is comprised of various industries including but not limited to: wood and paper, mining, food processing, sugar, salt, grain, and chemical processing.
His clients are located across the southeastern United States, with branches that reach across the U.S. and internationally. Eric’s personal relationship with Tricon’s major suppliers and a customer base of over 200 regular clients have given him extensive experience and respect in Tricon’s niche market.
